About us
The Singapore Muaythai Association (SMA) is the official National Sports Association (NSA) for Muaythai in Singapore, recognized for promoting, regulating, and growing the sport at all levels, from grassroots to international competition.
Established to unify the Muaythai community under a single banner, SMA represents Singapore within the global Muaythai movement under the auspices of the International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA).
Our mission is to elevate local athletes, coaches, and officials to world-class standards while preserving the rich cultural traditions of Muaythai.
We work closely with gyms, practitioners, and stakeholders to:
- Develop national athletes for SEA Games, Asian Championships, and global events.
- Conduct certified coaching, judging, and refereeing courses in line with IFMA standards.
- Promote youth and para-Muaythai development, ensuring inclusivity and equal opportunities.
- Host local tournaments and national qualifiers to identify and nurture talent.
At SMA, Muaythai is more than a combat sport, it’s a discipline of respect, resilience, and community. Together, we strive to make Singapore a regional force in Muaythai while instilling values that go beyond the ring.
